The Fleet Feet Running Club is excited to introduce a new program that lets you decide between two different workouts in one convenient location. We will meet at the Schenley Oval at 7:30am on February 9, March 9 and April 13, and you can choose between a speed workout on the track, or explore the trails in the park. Two coaches will be available to guide you through your workout, no matter what your level. This is a great opportunity to mix up your weekly runs and try something new! The workouts are free and all abilities are welcome.
Meet the Coaches!
Timothy Lyman is a health and wellness professional specializing in program development and management. He is a competitive distance runner, coach and certified personal trainer. With over a decade of experience in the field, his education and interests range from holistic practices to sports nutrition and exercise physiology. He holds an MBA and B.A. from Point Park University, and certifications from the American Council on Exercise, USATF and ASEP.
Malcolm East is a renowned runner whose resume includes winning the Pittsburgh Marathon, Pittsburgh Great Race and placing 5th in the 1981 Boston Marathon. Malcolm brings a wealth of experience and knowledge about running to the FFRC, and is incredibly passionate about the sport and helping others achieve their goals.
