Martine treats patients at NovaCare Rehabilitation’s Bethel Park center. She creates individualized treatment plans based on clinical experience and research while providing thorough education on all aspects of the patients’ care. She feels it is important to treat the “whole” person, not just parts.
This clinic will include a brief overview of the biomechanics of the running cycle. Martine will discuss common running injuries and strategies to prevent them. This workshop will be interactive and there will be a chance to ask questions! Attendees will also have the option to undergo a Fusionetics Screening if they choose. (Screenings are $10, cash or check)
Why Fusionetics? Nearly half of all sports injuries are caused by overuse and non-contact incidents. A Fusionetics Screening will help Martine to evaluate individual biomechanics and pin-point weak points.
This clinic will also include a brief overview of the biomechanics of the running cycle. Martine will talk about the benefits and pitfalls of cross training. Attendees will learn three essential exercises to take home. Martine will discuss "Good pain vs Bad pain" to assist runners in knowing when they can push through, and when they should back off. The session will be followed by a Q&A session. Attendees will then be given the option of getting a customized cross training program via Fusionetics testing. (Fusionetics Screenings are $10, cash or check).
